This is still a workable time range if it’s 8 a.m. your time and 5 p.m. the client’s time. In this case, a mutual timezone compromise is the best approach to get things done.

2. Different Currencies

The US dollar is commonly accepted as a transaction constant for many clients in the freelancing sector, and you can use it to your advantage depending on where you’re based.

However, keep a watch on currency rates because there is substantial financial volatility in many nations at the time, and you should consider what the USD truly converts to in your local currency. Variations of up to 10% are not uncommon, which can have a significant impact on your bottom line on larger projects.

To counteract this, you must specify that you only deal in your local currency and give local representation of the project’s value in both the client’s local currency and USD.

3. Financial Management

Most seasoned freelancers will tell you that it’s a good idea to have some extra cash in an account to tide you over during the lean times. You should take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible. Even if it’s only a few thousand bucks, this can really help you get by when nothing else is coming in. To be honest, almost all freelancers, no matter how long they have been in the company, have experienced this at some point.

You’ll be considerably better off if you maintain a close check on your incoming income flow and don’t get tempted to spend your windfalls every time they come in. That’s not to say you shouldn’t spend them, but I advocate doing so only a few times a year to ensure you have a backup plan in place to safeguard your well-being.

4. Leadership

The hardest thing is to lead yourself  for business that you own. Being your own boss is one of the most persuasive reasons for many freelancers to make the jump to freelancing. However, it can be exhausting, pull you away from your speciality, and require you to make difficult business decisions.

The greatest method to become a successful freelance boss is to examine your strengths, your business, and what you can accomplish in the time you have available.

5. Keep up the good spirit

The last most common problem of freelancing problems is to keep the good spirit.  Many freelancers ready to be success but not many that ready to fail.  As a freelancer, there will be time when there is no client in a row.  There will be also time when you get harsh critics and review from client. Having business is tough,  but you must keep going on. When you are down, it is Ok to keep low profile and feel upset.  But you need to get up and work out. Learn from the mistake  get another projects.

We all react differently to new events and scenarios, depending on our backgrounds, ability to adapt, and a variety of other elements that make us who we are. One of such periods in a professional’s life is the move from full-time work to freelancing.
