Remote Care Trainee for Medical Technology Company

Overall Job Summary:

• Receives, analyzes and processes CIED transmissions/events through the Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) software (Geneva Portal) program(s), provides technical analysis of ECG and device data supporting the IDTF in the completion of processing events.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in daily audio/video classes for the 3 months scheduled
• Complete required assignments and competency quizzes
• Attain a minimum 90% on benchmark tests
• Meet required productivity for processing reports
• Complete all assigned and required training; stay up-to-date on developing clinical knowledge, specifically ECG rhythm interpretation
• Review ECG recordings and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy/completeness and evaluate ECG for notification criteria and document actions
• Escalate device abnormalities through Geneva workflow process
• In conjunction with Lead or Supervisor, ensure quality assurance of readings and reports that will be delivered to physicians
• Meet performance productivity standards as noted in the ramp up process once initial training is completed
• Ensure quality assurance of work analyzed and processed
• Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• Relevant Work Experience: pass the ECG entrance exam, monitoring experience required, prior cardiac remote monitoring experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: CRAT/CCT within 180 days of employment
